Targeting of Fundraising Activities
Millie May joined us to ask about the targeting of fund raising and could we include an approach to the fundraising of being more informative regarding our aims. I t was felt that this might help inspire parents to assist more and contribute more if they were aware of the potential out come of the fundraising. The idea of targeting funds was discussed and potentially bringing n the ‘Thermometer’ idea to help focus the parent minds on our progress to our goals. Hilary will liaise with school and Governors as to what the school needs/wants. |

Black bin liner Collection
Mrs Chambers had passed on a sample of a black bin liner fundraising idea. The idea is to hand out bags to parents and ask them to fill with all forms of clothing and shoes and bring them into school in on a particular day. A company comes in on the same day weighs the bags and takes them away giving the school a set price per kilogramme. It was agreed that this was a simple earner and Virginia agreed to take this on. |

Next Meeting
It was thought that an evening meeting at the pub would be sensible to give Everyone a chance to come to a meeting. The next meeting will be arranged for 8pm in the pub to discuss the fete. |
