Music Clubs
There are two music clubs at School. Children in Key Stage 2 can join the choir with Mrs Javid which meets after school. At Christmas the choir goes to a variety of Community venues and sings carols for the guests and they also form a key part of the Christmas play.
Private Music Tuition
Private Tutors come into school to teach a variety of instruments. Violin lessons take place on Monday afternoons and guitar lessons on Friday afternoons. Piano lessons are on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Art Club
Art Club is offered after school on Fridays for pupils from Year 2 to Year 6. This session is very popular enabling the children to experiment with new techniques and building confidence in their artistic abilities.
The children thoroughly enjoy the variety of activities made available to them, providing them with the opportunity to develop new skills and share common interests with fellow pupils.
Judo Club This club is run during the school day by Ollie Fricker from Procoach. Judo fees are charged on a termly basis. It is expected that all pupils who attend this club will wear a judo kit (judo gi), which can be hired from Procoach if required.
Football Club is run by Jason Brizell who coaches a large number of children after school on a Thursday. Key Stage 2 pupils have begun to play matches against other local schools.
Tennis is also offered on Monday afternoons to children from across the primary range. This successful club develops tennis skills indoors and outdoors, depending on weather conditions.
