Cars - A HUGE
Thank You!!
We do realise that
we have been relying very heavily on parents for transport to various
activities and venues. We really appreciate your time and willingness to help
on these occasions. We could not afford to hire a coach for every activity and
therefore would not participate in many events on offer without your help.
Swimming
We have had a
request from the pool manager to ask you to ensure that the sun cream you use
for the children is a waterproof brand as this prevents a greasy layer building
up on the surface. Many thanks for your co-operation.

School Lunches
It’s that time
again! If you pay on a termly basis, payment of £76.00 is now due for term 6 to
take us up to the summer holidays if you did not pay the full £121.60 in April.
Please make cheques payable to SODEXO. You can pay daily (£1.90) or weekly
(£9.50) if you prefer and we do take cash!

FAO All Parent
Helpers
Please could you
remember to sign the visitors’ book on the way in and out in case we need to
evacuate the building in an emergency.

Newsletters on
the Website
All newsletters
and dates for your diaries issued so far are available on the website for your
information. Is there anything else you think would be useful to have on the
website? Any suggestions put in the suggestion box in the entrance hall would
be welcome.

Year 6 Cups
If your child was
presented with a cup last year please could you return it ready for this year’s
presentation. If you know anyone who may have a cup but are no longer connected
with the school we would appreciate it if you could let them know. Many thanks.
HADCAF
There are a number
of HADCAF programmes available on the table in the entrance hall.
Holiday Childcare & Activities in the Marlborough Area
Please see the
leaflet on the notice board in the foyer if you would like any information.

The School
Office
Mrs Wells will not
be in the Office on Monday 16th & Tuesday 17th June
and Thursday 26th June & Friday 27th June. Any
messages left on the answering machine will be checked at every break time.
Email Messaging
Service from Parentmail
There appears to
have been some confusion recently regarding the above service. Our
understanding is that Parents can pay for email notification for emergency
‘red’ parentmail messages only. We do not send messages by text from the
school; parentmail converts any emergency message sent by email into a text
where Parents have paid for the facility.
Term Dates for
2008/2009
Term dates for the
next academic year have been sent by a separate Parentmail. There will be TD days on Wednesday 3rd September
and Friday 24th
October 2008. The three remaining days will be announced
in September when agreed by Mrs Blackwell, the new Headteacher.
