At Chilton Foliat we offer a wide range of sport as part of the curriculum and also as clubs run by the school or by external coaches.
All children do Gymnastics, Dance and Games as part of the curriculum and Year 1 to Year 6 children also have access to swimming as part of the curriculum in the summer term.
The clubs available to the children are Netball run by the school as an after school club, Football run by an external coach Matt Rushton as an after school club and Judo run by Mark Burbidge from Procoach which takes place during a Thursday morning.
As a school we believe in developing children’s understanding of fair play and good sportsmanship in team games and individual sports. In order to develop this we aim to take part in a number of sports festivals. We have taken part in Netball, Football and Multi Skills Festivals run by our School Sports Partnership with St. Johns Secondary School and will also be taking part in an upcoming Hockey Festival.
We have won the Netball Festival two years running and have received a cup for fair play at the Multi Skills Festival.
